As a guy in my thirties, I’ve noticed I still let emotions take the lead sometimes when dealing with things. Logically, I see how so-called successful people always prioritize logic and results, never getting hung up on small emotions. But me? I’m clearly not there yet! This definitely has consequences. When you let emotions weigh too heavily, you end up paying for it. At the time, I thought I was just being authentic, but afterward, there’s always a hint of regret. So, I’m learning to consider the bigger picture and prioritize what matters most, maybe even sidelining emotions altogether. After all, at this age, it’s a process—facing challenges, learning, and improving bit by bit… and maybe getting a little more practical.

Here’s a powerful line: There’s no shame in what you do, only in doing nothing. The moment you let go of pride, you’re setting yourself up to earn it back one day. Strong people focus on growth; the weak obsess over their fragile pride. The past doesn’t matter—what matters is who you are now. Be yourself, take action, and get it done.

Some things are just passing distractions—don’t fight every battle! Have the courage to be disliked, the composure to face slander, and the grace to handle malice. Don’t sweat whether today’s drama is true or false; adopt the perspective of looking back ten years from now. Stay locked on your goal, move lightly, stay clear-headed, and act with efficient focus. As they say, a general on the march doesn’t chase rabbits!

I haven’t written for my public account in days. Why? Not laziness, but getting sidetracked by other stuff—more like getting sucked into it. I decided to rebuild my website with the latest, most efficient framework. I didn’t do a proper project assessment and thought it’d take just a few days. Big mistake—it took way longer than expected. I don’t know much about coding, and AI tools had me spinning in circles. Still, I picked up some basic coding knowledge, so it wasn’t a total loss. But I didn’t take good notes, which isn’t great for future website projects. VS Code is pretty powerful, though—I might mess around with it more later. All that time spent on tools, and I lost sight of the core: tools are just there to support better writing. Focus on the writing, and the rest will follow.

I’m making a point to record this meal. In the past, I’d eat so carelessly, always distracted by my phone or something else, barely tasting the food. This time, I’m adding some intention—putting the phone down, being present, and truly savoring the meal. It’s a small step toward enjoying the moment.
